Born in Korea in 1973, Jeong completed her undergraduate degree in Fine Arts at Hong-ik University in 1996, completing a Master’s degree in Fine Arts followed by a doctor’s course in Fine Arts at the same institution in 1998 and 2004 respectively. She has held solo exhibitions at a range of venues including the Kumho Museum in Seoul, South Korea and the Space Mom Museum in Chung-Ju, South Korea. Jeong has participated in group exhibitions both at home and abroad, including the Seoul Young Artist Festival at the Seoul Museum of Art (2005); Glorification is Still Life at the Il-Min Museum (2005); Drawings, at the Seoul Museum of Art (2006) and Break the Boundary of Reality Korean hypertension at the Shanghai Art Fair (2006).
